On September 11, 2014 the Department of Philosophy and History organized a student scientific and practical conference "Youth and Elections." The event was attended by students of the 1st, 2nd and 5th year of study of economic, accounting and finance faculties as well as the faculty of socio-cultural service and tourism. Opening statement was made by the Head of the Department of Philosophy and History, Associate Professor Nikolay G. Guzynin.
Students under the guidance of associate professors S.P. Zolotarev and I.N. Kravchenko prepared interesting reports on the electoral system, current legislation on elections. In one of them there were presented the results of a sociological survey among students of SSAU on electoral issues. Also as a part of the conference there was a theme quiz. As a result of the event, the most active participants received certificates and prizes.
