On September 17, 2014 Stavropol State Agrarian University held a coordination meeting in the framework of the international project «GREENMA - Innovative technologies in energy saving and environmental control." On the meeting there were the guests of the European Union: Project coordinator Angelo Musayo (University of Genoa, Italy), Pietro Zunino (University of Genoa, Italy), Vincenzo Bianco (University of Genoa, Italy), Alexander SLADKOVSKY (University of Silesia, Poland), Grzegorz Kubica (University of Silesia, Poland), Guilherme Bernabeu (University of Alicante, Spain), Ohana Driha (University of Alicante, Spain), director of "TIKASS» Italy Gustavo Kappanelli. Also in the meeting took part representatives of Russian universities: Tambov State Technical University, Ural Federal University, Vladimir State University, Moscow Chemical-Technological University named after Mendeleev, Voronezh Architectural University, Ivanovo State University of Chemical Technology, Ivanovo Polytechnic University, North Ossetian State University named after K. Khetagurova, Tyumen State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering University, Perm National Research Polytechnic University.
Numerous guests came to the Agricultural University to open a new master's program "Innovative technologies of energy saving and environmental protection." The ultimate goal of the program is the harmonization of academic approaches to energy efficiency for environmental protection and management through analysis and best practices.
The meeting was opened by the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhachev, he noted that the university has made significant progress in the development of international cooperation and academic mobility of faculty members and students: "Among the partners of Stavropol State Agrarian University there are top 50 universities of the world, including Italian Universities , Spain, Poland, the UK, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden. Today, we are cooperating with foreign partners on the development of agricultural production, ecology, environmental management and agribusiness, conducting round tables, seminars, business games and conferences with students, graduate students and faculty members. Opening of the master's program GreenMa is the next stage of scientific and practical activities of the university, which will promote creative interaction with the scientists of the world and Russia on environmental issues and resources. "
In 2012, a consortium of 11 Russian and four European universities was made. Agriculture as the basis for the development of energy conservation and ecological balance is represented by Stavropol State Agrarian University. The aim of the new project consortium Tempus Green Master is to develop and implement an educational program that meets the requirements of employers and the needs of the modern market.
According to the requirements of the project Tempus GreenMa, in SSAU educational process will be provided by teachers with training and participating in coordination meetings at the University of Genoa (Italy), Katowice (Poland), Alicante (Spain), London (UK).
In addition, an internal mobility between Russian partner universities will allow their teachers to focus their efforts on the completion of knowledge and skills of students of master's degree program "Innovative technologies of energy saving and environmental protection." Such an approach would create and maintain a network of universities, companies and organizations for the implementation and dissemination of new curricula; develop a policy of "Education throughout life", involving not only students but also professionals of different organizations; to create co-teaching, mobility and research activities in the universities of the consortium GreenMa.
