On September 19, 2014 the open championship on powerlifting for the prize of the Stavropol State Agrarian University as the qualifying round for the Cup of Russia (Krasnodar) and the World Cup "Golden Tiger" (Ekaterinburg) passed. 53 athletes took part in the competition. The tournament was organized at the initiative of Senior Lecturer from Physical Education and Sport Chair with the support of the Rector of SSAU, Professor V.I. Trukhachev.
The winners in the categories of women are:
- 57 kg - Tatiana Medvedeva (SSAU);
63 kg - Tatiana Vantsel (SSAU);
72 kg - Catherin Miroshnikova - 3rd place (SSAU);
72 kg - Margarita Lobach (sports club "Hardgener);
84 kg - Olga Kuzminova (sports club "Fitness Time);
84 kg - Julia Kravchenko (SSAU).
Boys showed the following results:
- 52 kg - Anastas Tishchenko (SSAU);
59 kg - Igor Struchkov (Sports club "Fitness Time);
83 kg - Kirill Boglaev (NCFU);
93 kg - Ruslan Poklad (SSAU);
105 kg - Sergey Vinokurov (sports club "Hardgener);
120 kg - Eugene Pasenco (SSAU).
Also the athletes from the club "Energy Orange" became prize-winners. Absolute champions are Ruslan Poklad and Anastas Tishchenko.
All participants received certificates and magazines with information about training and nutrition.
