Powerlifting Competition was held in the City Day.

1st prize in their weight categories have taken:

- Catherine Miroshnikova (Faculty of Accounting and Finance);

- Tatiana Medvedeva (Faculty of Social Cultural Service and Tourism);

• Anastasia Ishchenko (Faculty of Technological Management);

• Catherine Danko (Faculty of Plant Protection).

Nina Mukhortova, Senior Lecturer of the of Physical Culture and Sport Department, became the absolute champion.

Ruslan Poklad (Faculty of Technological Management) won the bronze medal of the absolute championship and the winner in the category of 90 kg weight. Nicholay Korshunov (Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources) became an absolute champion in armwrestling.

The winners were awarded with valuable prizes from the Stavropol City Administration and “Beeline” company – they received certificates for sportswear and sport equipment purchasing. The competition was held with the support of the Regional Federation of Powerlifting (President - Dmitry Krutko, Faculty of Mechanization graduate ) and the sports club “AGRUS”.
