In 2014 Tambov State University named after G. R. Derzhavin and Tambov State Natural Reserve “Voroninsky” are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their foundation . VII International Conference "Modern problems of natural and man-made environments" was dated to the anniversary and became a major event in the life of the scientific and environmental community.
The conference was organized by the Regional Office of the Environment and Natural Resources Protection, the Department of Education and Science of the Tambov Region, the Institute of Volga Basin Ecology of RAS(Togliatti), Ecological Problems and Forest Productivity Centre of RAS (Moscow), National University of Natural and Biological Resources of the NAS (Ukraine, Kiev), University of Orleans (Orleans, France), Kokshetau University (Kokshetau, Kazakhstan), Moscow State University, Saratov State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky, Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The Head of the Ecology and Landscape Construction Department of the SSAU, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor I.O. Lysenko has taken part at the conference as the member of the Organizing Committee.
On materials of the conference "Tambov University Bulletin" was published, that is included in the list of publications recommended by Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation.
The conference was also supported by a grant from the Federal targeted program "Students’ Unions’ Activity Development of the TSU".
