A student of SSAU became the best in “XXI century Erudite” contest

1 October, 2014 at the Caucasus Peoples’ Friendship Institute the first round of the youth contest "XXI century Erudite " was held.

The event was organized by the student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Oleg Smolin. According him, contests like this help to improve young people’s intellectual abilities.

The theme of the first round was “The Internet”. It wasn’t chosen by chance, because the 30^th of September is the Internet Day in Russia. Questions presupposed knowledge in such shears as the creation history of information portals, social networks and various online resources.

SSAU was presented by the Faculty of the Farm Electrification’s team "ERA". As participants admitted later, the first round was quite difficult, but interesting. The team of the Stavropol State Agrarian University proudly represented the game, but stopped in one step away from the victory.

After the first round of the contest SSAU takes the 2nd place in the tournament table. The captain of the team “Era” Alexander Gurkowski - 4th year student the Farm Electrification Faculty - was elected as the best participant of the round.
