October 2, 2014, Stavropol State Agrarian University, in collaboration with the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) presented a unique experience in implementing the EFQM Excellence Model in the activities of higher education institutions "Journey to Excellence."
Presentation of the experience took place in the framework of EFQM «Good Practice", which involves an invitation to organizations interested in achieving sustainable development, an organization that has achieved significant results in the implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model.
Thus, the "Good Practice" is a series of platforms for the exchange of professional experience in business and innovation in the different socio-economic conditions in order to help all interested companies to "comply with the future", that is to maintain or improve their competitiveness by using the criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model, introducing innovation and new technologies.
European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) on "good practices" of the University were represented by the chief financial officer EFQM Geert Opdenbosh, Program Manager, asessment and recognition of EFQM Yosun Aguirre, as well as a focal point for interaction with members of the EFQM March Labayen.
Russian Organization for Quality were represented by Yuri Gusakov - First Vice-President of the Russian Organization for Quality, official representative of Russia in the EFQM.
Among other visitors of "good practices" in Stavropol State Agrarian University "Journey to Excellence" were representatives of 12 organizations from various fields of activity from 8 countries (Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Russia, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey).
Within the framework of "good practices" Rector of the University Vladimir Trukhachev in the presentation "Stavropol State Agrarian University: Journey to Excellence," said the major milestones in the development of the university of excellence in accordance with the fundamental concepts of EFQM and outlined the prospects of development of the University in accordance with the criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model.
Independent view on the evolution of the University on the way to perfection, presented at a meeting of the leading assessor of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), Walter Ludwig. He said among the strengths of the University commitment to the whole team the idea of Perfection, unfailing willingness to change and improve, persistence in achieving goals.
The experience of the University to nurture creativity and innovation was represented by the leader of scientific and diagnostic and therapeutic veterinary center Alexander Y. Krivoruchko.
With practical experience of structural units of the University for the implementation of the EFQM Excellence Model Visitors learned about good practice in the field.
