The 16th Russian Agricultural Exhibition “Golden Autumn – 2014”, which was held in Moscow in the All-Russia Exhibition Center, completed its work. The organizers of this major event are the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Moscow Government, Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
The exhibition “Golden Autumn – 2014” has always been and remains the main event for the Russian regions, a harvest festival. Only here you can see all the variety of products of internationally recognized brands that have become the pride of our country and a kind of “calling card” of Russia for foreign countries.
The work of exhibition was opened by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The stand of Stavropol Territory was presented to the Prime Minister by the Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
The governor of the region told Dmitry Medvedev about the plans of agriculture of Stavropol Region to increase production of agricultural products and food as a solution of problems of import substitution. The Russian Prime Minister praised the achievements of Stavropol farmers presented at the exposition.
Traditionally, Stavropol State Agrarian University took an active and worthy part in the exhibition. Ten scientific developments of scientists of SSAU participated in industry contest “For achievements in the field of innovation in agriculture” in the framework of the exhibition “Golden Autumn – 2014” and have been awarded. Medals and diplomas received for the victory in the competition are a serious guarantee of quality.
