Six students of Stavropol State Agrarian University became "UMNIK - 2014"

On October 22, 2014 in the State Duma of Stavropol Territory there was a solemn awarding the winners of the federal program "UMNIK-2014." It was held in the framework of the Regional Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative ideas of the youth of the North Caucasus to the economic development of Russia."

Young scientists and inventors were congratulated by the President of the Duma of Stavropol Territory Yuri Vasilyevich Bely, Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Stavropol Territory Ivan Ivanovich Kovalev, chairman of the Duma Committee of Stavropol Territory on Education and Science, Professor Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kuzyakova, as well as heads of ministries and departments, deputies of the Duma of the territory. By the way, on that day the latter gave their seats in the room of the Duma meeting to young scientists and innovators, and this fact was pointed out by the chairman of the regional parliament. "We have a lot of factions in the Duma, such as "United Russia", "Fair Russia" and now we have one more faction - "Happy Russia" - that is you who form this happy Russia, happy Stavropol, and you are our future" - greeted Yuri Vasilyevich Bely the contestants.

The Chairman of the Duma Committee of Stavropol Territory on Education and Science Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kuzyakova announced that this year for the title of the smartest fought 175 participants from universities of Stavropol Territory, which presented to the jury works in the following areas: information technology, medicine of the future, modern materials and technologies of their creation, new devices and hardware systems, and biotechnology. In the end, the winners of the federal program "UMNIK" became 25 young scientists.

Six winners represented at the competition Stavropol State Agrarian University. The cherished statuette UMNIK of the Russian Federation and 400,000 rubles for the implementation of their scientific ideas became:

- Stepan Ushakov (The Faculty of Economics) with the work "Electronic information and trading platform for agricultural producers", direction H1 Information Technology;

- Ekaterina Fedoseyeva (The Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources) with the work "Automation of accounting indicators for monitoring the status of agricultural land using remote sensing technology," direction H1 Information Technology;

- Alexander Gurkovsky (The Faculty of Electric Power Engineering) with the work "Development of the system controlling the position of the center of mass of the aircraft," direction H4 - New devices and hardware systems;

- Alexander Yanovsky (The Faculty of Accounting and Finance) with the work “Cooling systems based on nano-dispersed magnetizable fluids”, direction H4 - New devices and hardware systems;

- Tatyana Alexandrova (The Faculty of Technological Management) with the work "Development of a comprehensive assessment of the quality of day-old poultry yuoung Optistart + ", direction H5-Biotechnology;

- Ekaterina Sedykh (The Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources) with the work “Development of an integrated agricultural biotechnology for cultivation of vegetable crops on protected ground”, direction H5-Biotechnology.

Also, four of the participants from Stavropol State Agrarian University earned the title "UMNIK of Stavropol Territory":

- Evgeny Rubtsov (The Faculty of Economics) with the work " Automatic Climate Control of a hive with conjugation of automation equipped working place of a beekeeper", direction H1-Information Technology;

- Vladislava Khevsokova (The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) - "Development of methods for the diagnosis of chromosomal aberrations," direction H2-Medicine of the Future;

- Dmitry Znamensky (The Faculty of Farm Mechanization) - "Development of a new method for hardening critical compression, presenting particular resource", direction H3 - Modern materials and technologies of their creation;

- Olesya Yatsyk (The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) - "Development of a test system to evaluate the meat productivity of sheep by allelic variants of the myostatin gene by PCR," direction H5-Biotechnology.
