The winemaker’s professional standard was discussed

On the 28 and 29 October 2014, the representatives of the Stavropol State Agrarian University visited the Joint Stock Company "Alcoholic production company" Gelendzhik "and" Abrau-Durso ". The purpose of the visit of the vice rector on correspondence, part-time and additional education, associate professor of Olga Lisova, the head of the Department of Production and Processing of Food Products from Vegetable Raw Materials, associate Elena Semenovna Romanenko, Deputy Director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education, associate professor Andrei Viktorovich Pankratov was to discuss with production workers a project o winemaker’ professional standard

A special attention at the meeting with the director of APK "Gelendzhik" Ayub Inverovichem Blyagoz and a chief technology of the enterprise Rimma Viktorovna Fok was paid to the analysis of labour features for the representatives of this profession. The participants highlighted the responsibilities of a winemaker and determined their differences from functions of foremen, technologists of fermentation production, other employees of the industry.

At a meeting of the Joint Stock Company "Abrau-Durso", a project of winemaker’s professional standard was discussed with the representatives of the University and advisors to Executive Director George Fyodorovich Nepranovym and Lydia Petrovna Adiguzelova, foremen of champagne and grape processing area Ivan Vladimirovich Srybnym and Larisa Rybakov. Employees of the company have made proposals for revision of a document prepared by the teachers of Stavropol State Agrarian University. The manufacturers’ observations allowed to specify many work functions, individual actions, skills and knowledge required for a winemaker. The correctness of employees’ point of view of JSC "Abrau-Durso" was confirmed by the examples of labor operations in specific workplaces of enterprise specialists.

In the nearest future the university staff plans to continue such meetings with the representatives of wine industry.

The Stavropol State Agrarian University is the executor of the state contract of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for the training of winemaker’ professional standard . The work was begun on September 12, 2014. The project of the professional standard was placed on the website of the University on the Internet at: http://www.stgau.ru/standards/.

Winemaker is not the first professional standard prepared by the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Earlier, the university teachers have already created 16 occupational standards for workers and specialists of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. Fourteen of them have identified the main responsibilities of worker spheres of agro-industrial complex. They described the content of the activities of locksmiths on repairing agricultural machinery and equipment, tractor drivers of agricultural production, operators of workshops for feed preparation, livestock complexes and mechanized farms, breeders, poultry farmers, beekeepers, growers, plant breeders, representatives of several other professions. Two standards were prepared for specialists with higher education - agronomists and veterinarians.

Teachers of the Stavropol State Agrarian University plan to continue to participate in the preparation of professional standards for workers in the sector of agriculture.
