Agrarian University presented its exposition at the last 21-22 November 2014 professional forum "Bread Festival in the south of Russia." The forum was attended by more than two thousand participants: leading bakers, millers and bakers of the North Caucasus and Southern federal districts and suburbs, Altai, the Crimea.
The Governor of Stavropol Krai Vladimir Vladimirov met with the participants. He thanked industry professionals for their important and noble work. "The work of farmers and bakers always includes several components, - said Vladimir Vladimirov. – They are warm hands, which grown corn, prepare the dough and attitude to the work that fills a unique taste of bread. "The forum participants shared with the head of the region pressing problems and their vision of the industry, including through import substitution and food security.
The forum also signed a cooperation agreement between the Government of Stavropol Krai, Stavropol State Agrarian University, the Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners and South guild bakers, confectioners, the hospitality industry.
The document provides for cooperation for development in the Stavropol region of baking, flour and confectionery production. In particular, the parties intend to cooperate in the development and implementation of regional programs and activities for the development of the industry, the introduction of innovative developments in many other areas.
Document was signed by the governor of the Stavropol Krai, Vladimir Vladimirov, rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhachev, president of ROSPIK Yuri Kantselson, vice president YUGPIK Irina Lyakisheva.
