The governor met with young patriots in SSAU

On November 23, 2014 in Stavropol State Agrarian University representatives of universities, schools and youth organizations of the city presented to the governor of Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, their projects of patriotic events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Before the meeting, the head of the region laid flowers at the monument in memory of university employees who died during the war.

The governor was told about a wide range of actions. Among them there are actions "Back into the past!", "Children of War", "Their names are names of streets" which were prepared by students of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The game for pupils "Back into the past!" is a rope course which includes teambuilding and knowledge of the history of the Second World War. Its target audience includes students of 9-11 forms from 651 schools of the region.

In the framework of the action "Children of War: childhood which there was not", memories of children, contemporaries and eyewitnesses of the events of the Great Patriotic War will be collected. The collected materials will be published and accompanying videos will be released on the website "Victory 26.RF."

The contest "Their names are names of streets" was already held and consisted of two stages. The first stage were master classes "Fundamentals of creative thinking", "Fundamentals of operator shooting and editing ", "Heroes of Stavropol." In the second stage there were shot videos about the Second World War heroes after whose names streets of settlements of the region are named and they were released on the official website of "Victory 26.RF."

Vladimir Vladimirov praised each of the projects and expressed his intention to take part in some of them.

Then, at the meeting with youth activists from different schools and universities of the region as well as social movements, the governor of Stavropol region Vladimir Vladimirov, chairman of the Veterans of Stavropol region Alexei Gonochenko, rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhachev, chairman of the movement "Victory Banner" Valery Yevlakhov held speech.

"The work that you are doing gives us confidence that the memory of the Great Victory will live forever, - said Vladimir Vladimirov appealing to young people. - Activities that you are involved in, that you organize unite our entire country. This is truly priceless."

Vladimir Trukhachev in his speech called on all universities of the region to organize patriotic actions since December of this year and noted that the issue would be discussed at the Council of Rectors of the region which he chairs.
