In Stavropol there took place the championship of the North Caucasian Federal District in hand-to-hand fighting. Yulia Kolesnichenko, 1st year student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, won the first place in the weight category up to 75 kg! Her coach is Mikhail Kutsenko. Now the winner will participate in the championship of Russia which will be held in Nalchik.
Arsen Dzhaliev, 4 year student of the faculty of economics, won in the open regional freestyle wrestling for the cup of the Governor of Stavropol region which took place in Krasnodar. He took the third place in the weight category up to 125 kg! To take part in the competition there arrived athletes from the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District, Russia and the near abroad. His coach is Vyacheslav Lychagin.
