Roundtable in the framework of the Week of Innovations

In Stavropol State Agrarian University within the Week of Innovations, round table "Strategy of innovative development of the agriculture of Stavropol region till 2030" was organised.

Opening the event, the Acting Minister of Economic Development of Stavropol region Yu. Kosareva thanked Stavropol State Agrarian University "for the active position which it took up in the preparation of the round table and the development of topics for discussion." Then she stressed that the event was an attempt to accumulate innovative resources of the region which have great potential. The Acting Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Stavropol region A. Dolin continued: "Today our goal is to shake up, let me say so, the innovative field of Stavropol region and to understand which way to take. Now the country is experiencing political changes and sanctions against us. This suggests that the role of import substitution in the field of food is crucial. The question of development of agriculture of the country, the question of the transition of agriculture to the way of innovation stands today as acutely as never."

The report "Strategy of innovative development of the agriculture of Stavropol region till 2030" was held by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol region Yu. Serbin. Actively participated in the discussion in the framework of the round table the Acting Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the food processing industry, trade and licensing of Stavropol region I. Vidineva, Deputy Head of the Territorial Department of the Federal State Statistics Service in Stavropol region I. Khalupovsky, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation work of Stavropol State Agrarian University V. Morozov, Director of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Sheep and Goat Breeding M. Selionova, Deputy Director for seed growing of Stavropol Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture V. Dridiger, Deputy Chief of the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the administration of Sovetsky municipal district V. Stas as well as leaders of agro-industrial enterprises of the region, teachers of SSAU.
