Sports news: weightlifting competition

Weightlifting competitions on the Stavropol Region Cup took place in Nevinnomyssk. The strongest athletes from eight cities and districts of the Stavropol region competed in the sport palace “Olymp”.
To get the right to participate in the championship of the district and to be a member of the Stavropol team tried more than 100 weightlifters. Among them were both young and famous athletes. And here are the results:

1st prize:

- Ruslan Poklad (4^th year student of the Faculty of Technological Management, 4th year).

2nd prize (different weight categories)

- Ivan Chemerkin (3d year student of the Faculty of Socio-Cultural Service and Tourism);

- Danil Kalashnikov (1^st year student of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources);

- Evgeny Pashchenko (3 year student of the Faculty of Farm Electrification).

In the team classification, our students took the 2nd prize. The coach of our athletes is Evgeny Borisovich Nesmeyanov.
