At the All-Russian student forum, held at Moscow State University name after Lomonosov, the project of Catherine Voytyshevoy, a 5-year student of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, "Their names were given to the street" is recognized as one of the best.
Russian student community has always been famous for their activity and the ability to self-organization. As the story goes, the first student congress was held in the summer of 1900 in Odessa. It laid the foundation for the cooperation between student organizations of educational institutions of the country. The rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy reminded the students (members of the Russian high schools gathered at the university on the Russian student's forum) about it. The forum was held under the motto "Now is the time to be an engineer."
The forum was presented by 70 thousand projects of different directions. Only the best ones were demonstrated, in particular the draft Catherine Voytyshevoy.
During their free time, the participants discussed the prospects of development of engineering education and support of student scientific and technical societies, new directions and specialties that may soon appear at the universities, and expressed a desire to participate in the meetings of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Students' interests in the Council will now be represented by the student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Catherine Voytysheva.
