"Innovative technologies in the agricultural sector"

At the Accounting and Finance Faculty together with the strategic partner of the University of the Stavropol regional branch of OAO "Russian Agricultural Bank" and the editorial board of the regional newspaper "Arguments and Facts - North Caucasus" a round table "Innovative technologies in the agricultural sector" was held. It was attended by Marina Pavlovna Timchenko – editor- in- chief of the weekly "Arguments and Facts - North Caucasus", Helena Ivanovna Kostyukova – dean of the Faculty, Chair of "Management Accounting", Julia Mihailova Sklyarova – head of the Department of Financial Management and Banking of SSAU, Alexander Nicolaevoch Zolotarev – advisor to the Director of OAO "Russian Agricultural Bank" of the Russian Federation, Alexander Ivanovich Sasin - representative of the Stavropol regional branch of the "Support of Russia", Lyudmila Ivanovna Brehina - head of the Stavropol Regional Microfinance Fund, Igor Victorovich Devederkin - researcher, chairman of the Union of Rural Youth of Stavropol Territory.

The participants discussed how the regional agribusiness is highly technological now, what the need for modernization of production is and how it affects the economic situation, what the measures of state support for businesses and entrepreneurs are, introducing innovative technologies in the agricultural sector. The participants focused their attention to how to implement efficiently the latest scientific achievements in the villages, which prevents and how to overcome it. They talked about the new credit proposals aimed at modernizing agriculture and processing industries.
