Meeting in SSAU on the development of breeding and seed in Stavropol Krai

December 26, 2014, SSAU – Governor of Stavropol Krai Vladimir Vladimirov held workshop on "Use of varieties and hybrids of crops breeding FGBNU "Krasnodar Research Institute of Agriculture named after P.P. Lukyanenko" in Stavropol Krai."

Participation in the meeting was the director of Krasnodar Agricultural Research Institute named after P.P. Lukyanenko, Academician Alexander A. Romanenko; Department of breeding and seed production of wheat and triticale, Academician Lyudmila Andreevna Bespalova; First Deputy of Prime Minister of Stavropol Krai Nikolai Timofeevich Velikdan; Deputy Chairman of the Government of Stavropol Krai Andrey Yrievich Murga; Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev; Chairman of the Board of agricultural breeding farm "Russia" Novoalexandrovsky District Sergey Viktorovich Pianov; Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and land resources Alexander Nicolaevich Esaulko.

In conclusion, an agreement was signed on cooperation in the field of scientific and practical realization of grain production in Stavropol Krai between Krasnodar Research Institute of Agriculture named after P.P. Lukyanenko and Stavropol State Agrarian University. It assumes the organization of accelerated production of seeds of higher reproductions, new and promising varieties of crops on the basis of educational and experimental farm of SSAU; joint research, lectures, seminars and conferences; practical training of students passing their practical training in Krasnodar Research Institute of Agriculture.
