16 students of SSAU passed the final scholarship program of Vladimir Potanin Fund

There were announced the results of the first round of absentee Scholarship program of Vladimir Potanin Fund. According to them in the second round there were 16 undergraduates of Stavropol State Agrarian University. January 27, 2015 they will be to participate in the internal round, which will be held at Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don).

Contest organizers say that this year the interest to the program have been showed more than 5,000 people, 2481 of application were made to participate in. The Council assessed the academic and creative potential of applicants for the grant, their motivation, the degree of professional maturity and sense of purpose. As a result, 1853 of semi-finalists were selected from 73 Russian universities.

The second round of Scholarship Contest is held in the form of a business game, identify the qualities of applicants, as the ability to make quick decisions and adapt to new conditions, organizational and leadership skills, communication. Following two rounds, the experts will determine the 300 winners who will receive a scholarship of Vladimir Potanin Fund in the amount of 15 thousand rubles from the second semester before graduation.

Stavropol State Agrarian University for ten years is a permanent member of the Scholarship Fund program of Vladimir Potanin. SSAU is the only university in the Stavropol Territory and the only agricultural university in the south of Russia, having such a long experience of cooperation with the Fund. Also in the first round of the scholarship competition 2014/2015 undergraduates of only two agricultural universities in the country reached the final: Stavropol State Agrarian University and Russian State Agrarian University - MAA named after. K.A. Timiryazev.
