Academic Choir of staff of Stavropol State Agrarian University became the winner of the first degree in the nomination "Academic vocal" on the basis of international competition talents "Winter's Tale." It was part of the project "Seasons" from 15 to 16 January 2015 in Pyatigorsk.
Academic Choir of Agrarian University performed two songs - the chorus girls from the opera "Askold's Grave" and "Song of Krynica" of A. Eshpaja.
48 artists and collectives took part in competition. Talents of participants were estimated by judicial commission chaired by Professor of the Department of Folk Instruments of the North Caucasian State Institute of Arts, the owner of "Grand Prix" of International Competition in Strasbourg V.H. Sharibova. In the jury there were also Honored Artist of the Russian Federation A.A. Prokopiev, president of the V.I. Safonov, A.S. Shurkalin, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation L.D. Podolsky, violin teacher E.A. Karabanova, teacher of academic and pop singing T.L. Zakharchenko.
Academic Choir of the staff of Stavropol State Agrarian University in 2010, working under the leadership of Honored Artist of Russia Valery Korotkov and haв no analogues in Russia. Team shows concert in the regional center and in the Stavropol region. Promoting artistic musical heritage among students, the choir performs educational mission. The repertoire will offer exceptional selection of vocal numbers: classical and contemporary music, folk songs. Part of the repertoire performed a cappella.
