SSAU grant was presented to young scientists

On February, 4 2015 grants and the awards of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in the field of science and innovations for young scientists were presented.

The event was attended by the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, professor, corresponding member of RAS, Deputy of the Stavropol region Duma Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev; doctor of pharmaceutical Sciences, professor, Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science of of the Stavropol region Duma Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kozakova; Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol region Duma Viktor Ivanovich Lozovoy; first Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Stavropol region Vasily Pavlovich Egorov.

Opening the meeting, the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University V.I. Trukhachev congratulated all the scientists of the University on the Day of Russian Science, and noted that for the fifth year young scientists of the University had the opportunity to receive a grant from the University for implementation of their researches. "Initial prize at the very begginning of this program amounted to half a million rubles. Today, for these purposes the Academic Council allocated 2 million rubles", - said Vladimir Ivanovich.

The Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science of the Stavropol region Duma L. M. Kozakova in her speech thanked the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev for his supporting the scientist of SSAU, creating a unique team, where young researchers work with their distinguished mentors. Lyudmila Mikhailovna wished all the scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University to implement their ideas and innovations into real products.

I Degree Diploma for the right to use cash rewards for the implementation of the Grant in the amount of 100 thousand rubles has awarded 5 research projects:

- "Biological function system of winter wheat fertilizing in the conditions of the Stavropol upland" (author: postgraduate student of Agrochemistry and Plant Physiology Department, Agrobiology and Land Resources Faculty T.S. Aisanov);

"New method development of pharmacotherapy in pathological conditions of the males’ reproductive system" (author: postgraduate student, technician of Therapeutics and Pharmacology Department, Veterinary Medicine Faculty A.A. Dorokhina);

- "Energy costs reduction and the quality indicators enhancing with continuous tillage cultivation" (author: postgraduate student of the Processes and Machines Department, Farm Mechanisation Faculty, K. D. Padalzin);

- "Development of food supplements with antioxidant activity" (authors: candidate of Technical Sciences, professor of Technology of Production and Processing of Agricultural Products Department S. N. Shlykov, candidate of Technical Sciences, assistant of Production and Processing of Agricultural Products Department, Technological Management Faculty R. S. Omarov, student of Technological Management Faculty N.A. Dubasov);

"Development of the electromechanical part of the autonomous power supply system for agricultural units of small power based on the wind energy plant, with a synchronous generator with an increased magnetic efficiency" (author: postgraduate student, an engineer of the Electrical Energy Application Department, Electrical Engineering Faculty, I. V. Devederkin ).

Five grants of 75 thousand rubles and five grants of 50 thousand rubles were also presented.

15 researchers became the winners of the Stavropol State Agrarian University in the field of science and innovations for young scientists.

At the end of the event, the Rector of SSAU Vladimir Trukhachev announced that the Academic Council of the University has decided to allocate one million rubles for research for every faculty of the University.
