Rector of ФГБОУ ВПО "Stavropol State Agrarian University" Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev was awarded with the Certificate of Honor by the Order of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin (№ 23-rp of the 12-nd of February, 2015) for the "labor achievements, many years of faithful work and social activities".
V.I. Trukhachev has been directing the university since 1999, during this time the activity of the Stavropol State Agrarian University was awarded by high honors, including the awarding of the University with RF Government Prize in the field of quality (2011., 2005.), the awarding with Prize “Support systems of the quality of training” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2010., 2005.), the recognition of the university as the winner of the International Tournament on Quality of Central and Eastern Europe (2011. 2007).
The position of the University has been strengthened in the international educational space. The University is the winner of the prestigious European competition in quality «Excellence Award» of European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) (2013, 2010.). The University is one of the two universities in Europe, which during the entire 21-year history of European competition in the field of quality has achieved a Winner’s high level.
According to the annual monitoring of the effectiveness of educational institutions of higher education, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Stavropol State Agrarian University was recognized as the best among the agricultural universities in Russia (first place in the ranking) in 2011-2013.
