Academic Choir of tutors and staff of Stavropol State Agrarian University became the winner of the second degree of the Cup of the North Caucasian Federal District choral art, which was part of the choir of the Russian championship in Pyatigorsk. Director is Honored Artist of Russia Valery Korotkov.
Choral championship of Russia is an annual competition of amateur choirs, which aim is to determine the champion of Russia on choral art. Artistic director of Championship National Artist of Russia Mikhail Turetsky.
The aim of the championship is the identification of the best choirs in Russia, popularization of choral art in Russia, activation of creative activity of the Russian population, exchange of creative achievements and the establishment of close contacts between the creative teams from different regions of Russia.
The band members are talented performers in their repertoire of vocal numbers of classical and contemporary music, folk songs, a cappella. University choir is our pride. And this achievement is not the only and really deserved!
