The winner of the regional competition on the history of the Russian business became the first-year student of the Master's program "Economy of firms and industry markets" of Stavropol State Agrarian University Yuri Sychev. He will represent Stavropol region at the federal level of the competition in Moscow on the basis of the History Faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
The competition was held in the framework of the project "History of the Russian business." The organizers are the Department of Business and World Economy, Russian public organization "Business Russia" and the Russian Historical Society. The project is to actualize in the public mind questions relating to the mission and the role of the Russian business in the development of Russia through an appeal to the cultural and historical heritage associated with the recovery of historical memory and justice with regard to the contribution of the Russian business in the history of the Russian state to form a new trend of positive attitude towards business people and entrepreneurs, philanthropists of our time.
The members of the jury of the regional competition were teachers of the Department of Business and World Economy, co-chairman of Stavropol regional branch of the Russian public organization "Business Russia" Eugene A. Bondarenko, executive director of Stavropol regional branch of the All-Russian public organization Inessa I. Karasyuk "Business Russia", General Director of NP "YuGPiK" Faith E. Zolotareva.
