The results of the second select round of studets agricultural practices Apollo in Germany, taking place on February 16-17 at Stavropol State Agrarian University were summed up. The selection Committee included Alla Kutuzova - coordinator of the Apollo program in Russia, Thomas Ranft – the head of the Apollo program, Daniel Schnider – a farmer, Niemi Wise - curator of trainees participating of the program.
As a result of the selection round 12 students of SSAU became the participants of the Apollo program and two students were included in the reserve list of participants. The winners will have a farm practice from May, 28 till September, 30 as well as will have an opportunity to learn the culture, improve their German and to attend seminars in Germany. Here are the winners:
1. Christina Bikhalo - 3rd year student of the Economics Faculty;
2. Alexander Gorbachev - 3rd year student of the Agrobiology and Land Resources Faculty;
3. Sergey Gorpenchenko - 3rd year student of the Farm Electrification Faculty;
4. Natalia Gorshkova - 3rd year student of the Agrobiology and Land Resources Faculty
5. Nicholas Dubasov - 3rd year student of the Technological Management Faculty;
6. Anton Zavalishin - 3rd year student of the Farm Mechanization Faculty;
7. Alexander Korobko - 3rd year student of the Farm Mechanization Faculty;
8. Vladislava Kotova -3rd year student of the Technological Management Faculty;;
9. Yulia Kulikova - 3rd year student of the Agrobiology and Land Resources Faculty;
10. Konstantine Kutsenko - 3rd year student of the Farm Mechanization Faculty;
11. Alexander Chesnokov - 3rd year student of the Farm Mechanization Faculty;
12. Alexey Klyuchnikov - 3rd year student of the Agrobiology and Land Resources Faculty;

1. Maxim Kovalev - 3rd year student of the Farm Mechanization Faculty;
2. Nadezhda Korosteleva - 3rd year student of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty.
Future trainee have been learning German since February, 18 together with students of the Humboldt University in Berlin Helen Mayer and Thomas Wagner, who arrived in Stavropol State Agrarian University as teachers of the German language. During the training, the trainees will also learn the peculiarities of German culture and cuisine, and free time is organized for teachers of joint excursions to important historical places of the Stavropol territory.
