Teachers of the Economics Department participated in an economic forum "A new course. Time doesn’t!", which took place at Moscow State University. Reports were made by professor Irina Viktorovna Taranova, professor Yulia Mikhaelovna Sklyarova, professor Igor Yuryevich Sklyarov, associate professor Irina Mikhaelovna Podkolzina.
About 3000 people, representatives from 48 regions of Russia and 25 countries of the world gathered on the forum. The main participants became: academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Sergey Yuryevich Glazyev; director of Institute of economy of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ruslan Semenovich Greenberg (cochairman); professor of economics department of Lomonosov Moscow State University Alexander Vladimirovich Buzgalin (cochairman); president of the Industrial union "New Commonwealth" Konstantin Anatolyevich Babkin (cochairman); first deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on the budget and taxes Oksana Genrikhovna Dmitriyeva; professor of Kozminsky University, Minister of Finance of Poland Grzegorz Kolodko; cochairman of the World public forum "Dialogue of Civilizations" Walter Schwimer and many others.
The Russian and foreign experts discussed the ways of decrease of negative influence on external factors on the Russian economy and offered a number of the measures necessary for recovery from the crisis with the minimum losses and transition to more perspective model of economic development of the country. Various offers on creation of social and economic mechanisms of production of goods and human capacity of Russia were made. Exactly today the correct strategy will help not only to cope with crisis, but also to become a basis for the powerful internal development and changes of a role of our country in global policy.
