On April 2, 2015 the first meeting of new structure of the Youth government of Stavropol Krai passed.
It is constantly operating advisory and advisory body at the Governor of Stavropol Krai which carries out the activity on a voluntary basis. 15 active young people will conduct work on assistance to executive authorities of Krai for realization of their powers, to participate in development of programs, to discuss drafts of regional laws.
"Today you take those place in which the acting members of the government of Krai usually sit. Feel not only feeling of pleasure, but also a sense of responsibility on the shoulders", − noted the Deputy Prime Minister of Stavropol Krai Irina Vladimirovna Kuvaldina who headed the first meeting of the Youth government.
At the first meeting, the chairman, the vice-chairman and the secretary of the Youth government of SK were elected by open voting. Having the maximum number of votes, the student of the 4th course of Electrical Power Faculty Alexander Gurkovsky became the chairman of the youth government.
"At the first meeting, we with the youth government defined the main areas of work, planned solutions of problems in various spheres. I see work on improvement of youth policy in the region as our main task ", − the elected chairman of the Youth government of Krai considers.
Also the student of Agricultural University Roman Shabanov who studies at the Economics Faculty got a case of the minister of sport.
