Winners of “UMNIK – 2015” were honoured in SSAU

On April 22, 2015 the winners of the All-Russian contest "UMNIK - 2015" were awarded in Stavropol State Agrarian University. To congratulate young scientists and inventors came the first deputy chairman of the Duma of Stavropol Territory Dmitry Sudavtsov, deputy chairman of the Duma of Stavropol Territory Viktor Lozovyi, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Stavropol Territory Irina Kuvaldina, head of the federal program "UMNIK" and the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology Vyacheslav Demchenko, head of the official representative office of the Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology, chairman of the Committee of the Duma of Stavropol Territory on Education and Science Professor Lyudmila Kuzyakova, Deputy Minister of Education and Youth Policy of Stavropol Territory Diana Rudyeva, Deputy Minister of Public Health of Stavropol Territory Natalia Kozlova, Vice-Rector for Science of the North Caucasus Federal University Professor Ivan Evdokimov, chairman of the Regional Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vitaly Morozov.

Opening the ceremony, the head of the official representative office of the Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology Lyudmila Kuzyakova stressed that there gathered talents of Stavropol land, the most intelligent, brilliant, creative people who have worked hard and succeeded in difficult struggle, then gave the word to the members of the jury. There was a difficult task in front of them - to choose the best projects among worthy works of young scientists of Stavropol Territory. This year, there were 280 applications, of which 132 of the participants advanced to the semifinals. They presented to the jury their works in the following areas: information technology, medicine of the future, advanced materials and technologies of their creation, new appliances and hardware systems, and biotechnology. In the end, the winners of the federal program "UMNIK" became 32 young scientists, it should be noted that it is the largest number of winners over all the years.

Eight winners of the program represent Stavropol State Agrarian University. The cherished statuette "UMNIK" of the Russian Federation and 400,000 roubles for the implementation of their scientific ideas received:

- Pisarenko Sergey with the project "Software for the study of methods of designing automated systems of controlling technological processes" (Faculty of Electric Power Engineering, supervisor – D.G. Ushkur; H1 direction "Information technology);

- Shalin Petr with the project "Development of an operational cloud service«Cloudmemory» (Faculty of Economics, supervisor – A.M. Troshkov; H1 direction" Information technology);

- Koblov Yury with the project "GIS analysis and forecasting the spread of new harmful diseases of winter wheat in the agro-climatic conditions of Stavropol Territory" (Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, supervisor – A.P. Shutko; H1 direction "Information technology);

- Kastarnova Elena with the project "Development of a new exosomal dosage form controlled by delivery and release of the drug" (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, supervisor – V.A. Orobets; H2 direction "Medicine of the Future");

- Iskenderov Ramil with the project "Development of a new design of the crusher in order to increase the efficiency of the grinding grain materials" (Faculty of Farm Mechanization, supervisor – A.T. Lebedev; direction H4 "New devices and hardware systems");

- Perkov Evgeny with the project "Development of the device for the diagnosis of power transformers" (Faculty of Electric Power Engineering, supervisor – S.V. Dorozhko; direction H4 "New devices and hardware systems");

- Zinovieva Alena with the project "Development of technology elements for microcloning ornamental crops" (Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture, supervisor - O.Y. Gudiev; direction H5 "Biotechnology");

- Krivosheev Sergey with the project "Improvement of the elements of production technology of environmentally friendly green leafy vegetables in a protected ground" (Faculty of Agrobiology and Landscape Architecture, supervisor – A.N. Esaulko; direction H5 "Biotechnology").

The distinguished guests also awarded special prizes to seven "UMNIK" participants of Stavropol Territory:

- Barsukov Maxim with the project "Development of an automated information portal «Government2Business & Government2Community» using client-server technology and distribution" (Faculty of Accounting and Finance, supervisors – E.I. Gromov and A.N. Gerasimov, direction H1 "Information Technologies");

- Fedoseyeva Tatiana with the project "Development of software for the automation of work of the officials of electric power enterprises" (Faculty of Electric Power Engineering, supervisor – S.V. Anikuev; H1 direction "Information Technology");

- Kenina Diana with the project "Development of an Internet portal to support business decisions" (Department of Economics, supervisor – A.N. Baydakov; H1 direction "Information Technology");

- Nosov Ivan with the project "Development of the Internet portal of the community "makers" for the development of technical creativity of children and youth" (Faculty of Farm Mechanization, supervisor – D.S. Kalugin, direction H1 "Information Technology");

- Znamensky Dmitry with the project "Development of a new device and method of hardening highly compression springs with increased resource" (Faculty of Farm Mechanization, supervisor – N.Y. Zemlyanushnova; direction H4 "New devices and hardware systems");

- Savelieva Elena with the project "Development of methods and technical diagnostics of power electrical equipment (Faculty of Electric Power Engineering, supervisor – M.A. Mastepanenko; direction H4" New devices and hardware systems");

- Yatsyk Olesya "Development of a test system for the evaluation of meat productivity of sheep based on the allelic variants of myostatin gene by PCR" (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, supervisor – V.A. Belyaev, direction H5 "Biotechnology").

Team Leader of the federal program "UMNIK" and the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology Vyacheslav Demchenko noted some innovations - now each winner of this program is able to consult and to process the documents for free and since this year the innovation of certificate for the right of registration of individual property passes to a two-year contract with the Fund.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Prime Minister of Stavropol Territory Irina Kuvaldina said, "You are special - this is a year of anniversary - the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. Now Russia is rising, we haven’t done it so long ago. We need intelligent, literate, and most importantly, demanded people. Own country really needs you. We believe that the year of the anniversary of the victory will be a start for you for many, many years to come!"
