On the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: Voroshilovsk (Stavropol) during the war

In Stavropol State Agrarian University there took place a scientific-practical conference "Voroshilovsk (Stavropol) during the Great Patriotic War." It was attended by students of the first course of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Farm Mechanization. World War II veteran, retired colonel Pavel Zakharchenko was invited to the conference. He spoke about the front destiny, heavy everyday life of the war and its heroes who did not call themselves so, they just went into battle without thinking about the awards and titles. Presentations were made by students of the Faculty of Economics - Svetlana Kazakova told about the occupation of Voroshilovsk (Stavropol), Alina Galkova – about the seizure of Armavir. Their supervisor is Associate Professor I.N. Kravchenko. Diana Muradova presented a poem of her own composition "To Remember". Professor S.V. Yanush showed archive chronicle of the German occupation of the city of Voroshilovsk. In conclusion, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War Pavel Zaharchenko was handed flowers and a gift to remember.

The event was organized by the Head of the Department of Philosophy and History Associate Professor N.G. Guzynin and Associate Professor I.N. Kravchenko, Associate Professor V.I. Kurchev took part in it.
