On the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: trees - a symbol of life

Students of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Resources and that of Ecology and Landscape Architecture came out with an initiative to plant a garden of 70 trees on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. This is not only to pay a tribute, but also to preserve the history and memory of the heroic deeds of the people, who rose once to defend the homeland.

70 years have passed since then, as the last shots thundered over the fallen Reichstag. Today boys and girls stare at the young faces of their ancestors who fell on the battlefield, who did not break or turn away. Trees as a symbol of life for many decades will remind present and future generations about the importance and value of piece, for which our ancestors gave their lives. Youth keeps the memory of those who gave them a peaceful future.
