On the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory

All the faculties of the Stavropol State Agrarian University hold the conferences, devoted to the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Scientific-practical conference was held among students of the Accounting and Finance, Economics and Farm Electrification Faculties. The chairman of the conference was the professor of the Philosophy and History Department S. B. Kalinchenko. Reports about the heroic pages of the Great Patriotic War have been read by the students members of the civil-patriotic center "Patriot". Reports by professor S.V. Yanush, associate professor I. N. Kravchenko, senior lecturer E. V. Tufanov have been heard with the great interest. In conclusion, student Diana Muradova has read her poem. The event finished with a minute of silence in commemoration of the fallen heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

At the Farm Electrification Faculty a students conference "Contribution of domestic physics into the victory over Nazi Germany" was held. It was attended by students of the Farm Electrification, Agrobiology and Land Resources, Technological Management, Economics Faculties. Organizers were the teachers of the Physics Department professors E. I. Rubtsova, I. A. Bogolyubova, S. N. Lubaya, P. V. Nikitin. At the conference such topics as scientific developments in the field of war period aviation, development and improvement of models of planes, the physical characteristics of an airplane wing, the technique of protection against German anti-ship mines. Among the guests were the specialist of Educational Department S. N. Yurchenko, and E. N. Golubnitskaya.

The best reports of the conference were awarded diplomas, commemorative badges of the 70th anniversary of the Victory and valuable gifts, which were presented by the Deputy Dean of the Farm Electrification Faculty Sh. G. Gabrielyan.
