Agricultural science for the North Caucasus Federal District

Stavropol State Agrarian University held an 80-th scientific-practical conference "Agrarian science for the North Caucasian Federal District".

The event was attended by the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, professor, corresponding member of RAS, Deputy of the Stavropol region DumaVladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev; doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, professor, the Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science of the Stavropol region Duma Lyudmila Mikhailovna Kuzyakova; the first Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol region Sergey Dmitrievich Ridny; Deputy Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Stavropol region Galina Serafimova Zubenko.

Opening the 80th annual Scientific-practical conference, Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University of V. I. Trukhachev noted that "the main goal of the annual scientific-practical conference − discussion and consideration of the research results obtained over the last year. This is important and necessary stage of any research work. Science and research are the basis of our University. It's a matter of our whole life, pride and strong theoretical support in practical educational process of the University."

The Chairman of the Committee on education and science of the Stavropol region Duma L. M. Kuzyakova in her speech wished all the scientists of the Stavropol State agrarian University "a rain of grants, because the artist creates masterpieces when he is hungry. And a scientist, not having enough money can do little for the results of his research become known".

During the first day of the conference, participants heard reports of the first Deputy Minister of the agriculture of Stavropol region S.D. In the framework of the conference nine winners of the contest "Best inventor of the Stavropol State Agrarian University 2014” were awarded .
