On the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: scientists of the SSAU are the participants of the Great Patriotic War

From 7 to 24 April, 2015 excursions have been held in the museum of the history of the Stavropol State Agrarian University , devoted to anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. They were organized and conducted by the students members of the Civil and Patriotic Educational Centre "Patriot" under the supervision of the Head of the museum O. N. Shmatko.

A thematic exhibition "Scientists of the SSAU are the participants of the Great Patriotic War " was presented to the visitors. The students were told about the life of Tamara Petrovna Bezborodova – associate professor of the Botany Department of the Agronomy Faculty (1967-1987.); Nikolay Vladimirovich, Bugaichenko – assistant professor of Agricultural Machinery Department of the Farm Mechanization Faculty (1965-1998.); Boris Danilovich Katrich, assistant teacher of Physics Department(1975-1984.); Vladimir Ignatievich Sidorov, professor of the Sheep husbandry, Zoology and Zoohygiene Department of the Technological Management Faculty(1999-2010); Alexey Stepanovich Butov – associate professor of the history of the CPSU (1957-1991.); Nestor Makarovich Shahzadov – assistant professor of Agronomy Department (1965-1998.), Ivan Emelianovich Redkokashin – a student of the Zootechnical Faculty (1950-1955); Alexey Grigorievich Myshko – professor of the Accounting Department of the Economic Faculty (1967-2009). Also visitors of the Museum learnt about the history of the monument "Eternal glory to the students, teachers and the personnel of the Stavropol Agricultural Institute who fell during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", which is on the territory of the Agricultural University.
