From the heart I congratulate you on a holiday of valor and glory – the Victory Day!
The Great Patriotic War lasted five long years. Pain about the fighters who were lost those days is an eternal pain of our people. But not only blood of our defenders is memorable for us. We remember the great victims, the lost soldiers and veterans, we pay a tribute of respect to inexpressible bravery, honor and nobility of their hearts.
Some people were called on the front to beat off attacks of the enemy. The others in the back did a heroic and heavy work. Everyone approached the Victory Day – May 9, 1945. Then engines of bombers stood, guns stoped.
But our memory isn't silent: we don’t forget the heroism of the people, their strength of mind, and unity. Each of us knows the price of the Victory: 1418 heavy days and nights of war veterans carried out in fight. People will never forget the courage and spiritual greatness of the Soviet soldier and gloss of awards and medals of winners won't grow dim.
Today, in a peace time, we honor and we remember thosethanks to whom we can quietly work, enjoy life and raise our children!
With the Victory Day! Let it always be a peace sky!
Yours faithfully,
