May 14-15, 2015, there was a speech on studies of listeners of the program of professional development "The accounting of requirements of the veterinarian professional standard in activity of practical workers".
The first lecture to 36 representatives of the stations on animal disease control of the Territory and the teachers of Aleksandrovsky agricultural college was read by the deputy director of the Institute of additional professional education of the Stavropol state agricultural university, associate professor Andrey Viktorovich Pankratov. He informed the audience on essence and the specifics of the professional standards. The deputy dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, associate professor Ivan Valentinovich Kireev told about contents of the normative document defining veterinarian’s specifics of activity. He was a member of the working group which developed the professional standard of the doctor for animals approved by the order of the minister of work and the social relations of the Russian Federation.
Listeners were also addressed by the leading teachers of the Stavropol state agrarian university – the dean ofthe Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, professor Valery Anatolyevich Belyaev, professors Andrey Nikolaevich Kvochko, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Orobets, Elena Edugardovna Epimakhova.
From listeners’ point of view, training according to the program of professional development organized by Institute of additional professional education of university is in due time. In accordance with the decision of the State Duma of the Russian Federation the application of requirements of professional standards will become obligatory in the country since July 1, 2016.
