On the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University and Don State Agrarian University a joint dissertation council on the scientific degree of candidate of technical sciences, and the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences is opened.
Dissertation Council was established by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on July 10, 2015 № 790 / SC. In total, the Council consists of 25 scientists - indeed, according to the new requirements they have a degree of doctor of Technical Sciences, as well as have an active publishing activities in their research sector. Deputy Chairman of the Council is the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.T. Lebedev.
Members of the Council will take the defense of dissertations in such areas as "Technologies and means of mechanization of agriculture", "Electrotechnology and electric equipment in agriculture" and "Technologies and maintenance service means in agriculture."
