How to be a breeder

The teachers of Stavropol State Agrarian University and the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture Territory discussed the draft of professional standard breeder of livestock breeding, which was prepared in SSAU under a contract with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Representatives of the Agrarian University A.V. Pankratov, E.E. Epimahova, N.I. Belik, T.I. Antonenko met with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory G.T. Bobryshova, the head of livestock A.A. Mushtatov and Livestock breeding D.N. Volnova, the head of the tribal supervision I.A. Kopylov, Chief Specialist. The discussion of the draft professional standard was also attended by the director of state fiscal institutions "Center of tribal resources" V.V. Golimbovsky.

Particular attention was paid to the definition of the main goals of professional activity of the breeder of livestock breeding as well as the content of its individual job functions. As a result of two-hour discussion, the legal document, subject to certain amendments and proposals was assessed positively. Participants expressed their wish for the Institute of additional professional education of university training courses on the subject to the requirements of professional standards in the practice of specialists of agriculture of the region.
