The victory in the inter-regional competition of scientific works "BayStady - 2015"

Student of Chemistry and Plant Protection Department Lyudmila Mikhno is among the ten winners of the V Inter-regional competition of scientific works "BayStady - 2015". The theme of her work - "The biological activity of the mixtures of herbicides and their impact on the yield of winter wheat in the conditions of Stavropol State Agrarian University experimental station" (supervisor - Doctor of Agricultural Sciences A.P. Shutko). Organizers of the competition - the Russian Union of Rural Youth and JSC "Bayer".The participants were bachelors, masters and PhD of students twenty-six agricultural universities in Russia. Protection of scientific papers held at Russian Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev. Most of them were determined by a competent jury consisting of nine persons. They highly appreciated the level of work, noting positive trends. In the final there were Stavropol, Voronezh, Kuban, Krasnoyarsk, Oryol State Agrarian University, Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy and Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky.Professor of Moscow State Agroengineering University named after V.P. Goryachkin Tamara Petrovna Kobozeva, resident expert of the competition, said: "I have great pleasure to participate this work. Year by year, significantly expands the range of cultures involved in the experiment, areas of research, becomes wider coverage areas of cultivation of these crops, range of remedies. Quality of work,of course, increased too. " She further emphasized: "The competition helps young people to develop their creativity. This allows experts to get an idea of what level is the research work in universities. At such events, there is a dialogue of young people, which increases their level of training, social adaptation. Therefore, the holding of such contests is a great benefit for the training and for the process of education, a good way to improve the scientific, social and intellectual activity of the younger generation. "Awarding of finalists was the next day at the VII All-Russian Forum "Agriculture is the territory of opportunities", held annually by the Russian Union of rural youth in the framework of agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn". The winners were awarded by certificates and souvenirs, and, of course - a certificate for a monthly stipend from the Company "Bayer", which this year has been increased to 5,000 rubles.
