Within the framework of the VI International Slavic literary forum "Golden Knight", which was opened in Stavropol, a meeting of students and professors of Stavropol State Agrarian University and a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, Honoured Artist of Russia Nikolai Petrovich Burlyaev. The event takes place within the framework of the Year of Russian literature, devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory and the 1000th anniversary of the repose of St. Vladimir and is held in the format of literary meetings, film screenings and concerts. This year, the forum was visited about fifty well-known writers and actors of Russia and CIS countries.
Opening the meeting, Nikolai warmly welcomed all and briefly commented the film "Lermontov", director and leading actor of which was he. Established in 1986, the motion picture covers the main stages of Mikhail Lermontov's life and a biographical narrative that accurately displays the fate and difficulties recurring in the course of life of the great poet.
The director showed the Russian poet suffering for Russia, indifferent, spiritual, rebellious man. Then there was a viewing of the film.
