Internship in Germany

In the framework of the grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on the departmental target program of improvement of qualification of engineering and technical staff in 2015-2016 for the courses and internships under the program "Development, implementation and maintenance of management systems of food safety based on HACCP principles" the representatives of the Stavropol State Agricultural University, organized and implemented foreign study tour for specialists of food enterprises of the region provided by the terms of the program.

Obtaining and implementing the grant is the result of joint work of the Institute of additional education (coordinator O. M. Lisova), Educational and scientific testing laboratory (supervisor G. P. Starodubtseva), Head of the Department of technology of production and processing of agricultural products O. V. Sycheva (Program Director) and the Director of the "Center of testing product quality," L. V. Fisenko.

Purpose of internship is to gain information and practical experience on topical issues of rational approach to the creation, maintenance and improvement of the management system of food safety based on HACCP principles. In accordance with the intended purpose of the internship programme included visits of a number of enterprises and organizations, in particular the International Academy of Management and Technologies INTAMT (Dusseldorf, Germany), where students on the lecture by Dr. E. Patrick learned the activities and directions of development of the German economy.

At the Department of technology of food production in Institute of nutrition and merchandising of the Rhine University named after Friedrich Wilhelm (Bonn, Germany) assistant professor Judith Kleinsmidt told about the results of scientific research aimed at the preservation of product quality during the storage and sales in retail chains.

When visiting the slaughterhouse Großschlachterei Thönes e.K. (Wachtendonk, Germany), cheese works, Kaasboerderij Weenink (Netherlands), dairy plant Dairy Farm Walvoort (Holland) and slaughterhouse Ecofields (the Netherlands) the participants of the training got acquainted with practical experience of enterprises for the organization and implementation of measures to ensure the safety of products in accordance with the requirements of HACCP.

After the program was implemented the participants of the study received personal certificates.
