Youth Forum "Your Choice"

In the Stavropol region it was held a youth forum, "Your choice." Students from ten higher schools of the regional center, Nevinnomyssk, Pyatigorsk, and the national team of region youth activists were gathered to demonstrate knowledge of the electoral law and electoral process. The forum was organized by Electoral Commission of Stavropol Territory, the Institute of additional professional education in Stavropol State Agrarian University. Participants of Youth Forum warmly welcomed the Chairman of the Electoral Commission in the region E.V. Demyanov. The deputy chairman of the Government of Stavropol Territory O.N. Prudnikova and I.V. Kuvaldina addressed to the teams with the welcome words. Potential rights of young people as voters, should be fully implemented - this is the main objective of the forum. Teachers of the department State and municipal government and law of the higher educational institution prepared the questions and tasks for competitions and quizzes online, "Your choice."

Quiz on election law passed in three sets. The first - teams came up with propaganda material, based on the statements of prominent politicians and philosophers. In the second round the team answered questions on the history of the formation of the electoral process in the Russian Federation. And in the third - the forum participants showed erudition, solving crossword puzzles, which reflects the essence of the political process, and particularly the right to vote in this country.

At the end of the quiz the team of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took the first place. The second were the representatives of the North Caucasus Federal University. Third - the Stavropol branch of Moscow State University named after M.A. Sholokhov.
