Medal - to scientist!

At the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Stavropol State Agrarian University the Rector Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation A.N. Tkachev has solemnly handed the Professor, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences Victor Yakovlevich Nikitin the highest award of Ministry-Medal "For contribution to development of agro-industrial complex of Russia". Presenting the award, V.I. Trukhachev expressed V. Ya. Nikitin deep gratitude for longstanding, diligent, responsible work, great contribution to the development of veterinary education, training pleiade of young scientists continuing affairs of the outstanding mentor. His students have successfully solved the problems connected with the reproduction of farm animals, developing new, more effective methods of treatment and prevention. The members of the Scientific Council joined the congratulations and wished the Professor health, welfare and many forces for further fruitful activity for the benefit of Russian science.
